We celebrate mobile photography.

For a new generation.

TSV is an independent magazine showcasing the works of international mobile photographers and artists along with interviews and Academic texts. It’s designed with love and nice to touch, though it’s not only a print magazine. TSV aims to support its community of emerging artists and newcomers online and offline by selecting their works, exhibiting them on an international Level, and providing them with assistance.

Our STORY.
A One-woman show

The English-speaking magazine was created in 2014 by photographer and graphic designer, Rosa Roth, as part of her final studies at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg, Germany. The first print issue ‘Reflections on Mobile Photography’ was successfully crowdfunded and released as part of the Photo Triennial Hamburg in July 2015. The issue showcased 15 international mobile photographers for the first time in a festival context and was awarded the DDC Award in the category ‘Future’ and nominated as ‘Launch of the Year 2015’ by Stack Awards. The magazine reaches readers interested in photography and indie magazines worldwide. TSV is funded entirely by its creator And Community. Physical copies of the magazines and photo zines are available in several Bookstores and online. Besides the production of print editions and photo books, an overwhelming portion of TSV’s work happens online. Its Instagram account and hashtags are the primary source for submissions, online curation, and features.

Our Mission

founded back in 2014, TSV is curated by photographer and graphic designer Rosa Roth. Originally met with the idea that using a cell phone produces sub-art media, TSV was started to prove this notion wrong and create a space for emerging photographers to share their art and be celebrated for it - no matter the quality of their gear.
